The Fortuneswell Cancer Trust is a registered charity that works to improve the services to patients and staff of the Cancer Unit at Dorset County Hospital.

Some of the ways in which the Fortuneswell Cancer Trust contributes to the care and welfare of cancer patients include:

Improvements to the facilities of the Fortuneswell Chemotherapy Unit at Dorset
County Hospital.

•Supporting the opportunities for providing treatment, when appropriate, in satellite hospitals nearer to patients’ homes

•Providing financial assistance to nurses and medical staff to help them engage in research, study and education to provide better management of patients with cancer.
